I like to think of myself as a simple woman thoroughly enjoying her simple life living in a little cottage in northern California. Some have questioned one of the “simple” adjectives there, but I’ll leave that up to you. I love treasure hunting, either on the beach or at a flea market. I love picnics, girls’ nights and dinner parties. To me a beautiful photograph can speak the volumes that my sometimes tongue-tied self struggles to find. I cherish a good laugh and respect a good cry. Like my shop inventory, I’m soft yet a little time-worn, and sometimes colorful but more often pastel. I love rustic wood, soft fabrics and tattered ribbon. I’m perpetually 39 years old, I’m amazed every time I grow a vegetable from seed, and I will water a dead plant for 3 years before I give up on it.
